The ANE Family enjoys being Cool

ImageWe may not be pretty (OK, Jennifer Reed is), but we do have fun. The ANE Show which can be heard on 1190 AM every Saturday morning at 9 AM is an hour of Automotive, News, and Entertainment. Listeners can participate with the on-air personalities through interaction with Facebook or Twitter @TheANEShow. Every question or comment will be answered or addressed, and most of the time on-air.

The ANE Show is hosted by Jim “Doc” Proctor who is the General Manager at Dodge City of McKinney. He is joined by “Bubba” who is the Internet Director at the dealership and a consumer advocate. Josh “The Guru” Deaton, and “The Spin Doctor”, James Schaefer of DeliveryMaxx handle Social Media Interactions and up to date news stories. “The Coolest Guy in Dallas”, Paul Salfen and the Beautiful Jennifer Reed introduce listeners to the rich and famous in entertainment. Both Host the Drew Pearson Show, and Jennifer is an Actress/Model.

ImageThis cast of characters, and we do mean “characters” spend Saturdays providing great information, but they have fun doing it to.  There is no telling what will be said on air, because they are real people with real stories.  When listeners tune the radio in on 1190 AM they will hear a cast talking about weekly news stories.  It is truly “water cooler” talk at its finest.

ImageNothing is safe, and Bubba, “The Guru” and “The Spin Doctor” have been known to get into trouble at home for sharing too many family secrets.  What would you expect from a guy who boasts about his mullet during his high school days, someone who has a donkey as a pet, or one who claims to be the best little league coach in the Dallas area?  (Tune in to see which story goes with who).

 

ImageThe youngsters of the bunch are also what we call “The Pretty People.” Paul Salfen and Jennifer Reed grace the cover of magazines and can be seen at various times when perusing through the TV channels. Not only do they experience the life of the Rich and Famous; they gossip about it as well. These two will share how “the other people” live.

Now, this show would not happen without the Doc keeping everyone in check. Proctor makes sure that each show goes off without a hitch despite the efforts of the cast trying to take the show down treacherous curves.

ImageThe ANE Show is a family. It is one of those dysfunctional families. You know. It is a lot like the one you see at birthday parties and other family gatherings. The crew brings in friends of the show and guest and soon they become an extended part of the family as well.

We aren’t perfect, but sure act like we are on air. We act like the uncle that has all of the answers, but complains that he has to wear a coat to a nice dinner. Sometimes, we act like the aunt who wears her fur coat to Denny’s but is appalled that a diet soda cost $1.99. In fact, we are like the father who brags about his son’s participation medal or the mother who scolds her kids for using foul language with four letter adjectives directed at them.

ImageNope. We are not perfect, and that is what makes the show so fun. Tuning into The ANE Show will provide entertainment, but it will also give you information on today’s automotive industry. This week’s guest is Bryan New of Liberty Mutual Insurance. Mr. New will help listeners understand automotive insurance and provide answers that could save you a lot of heartache. Questions which are read on the air will put the listener into a drawing for Dallas Stars or Dallas Mavericks tickets.
